Go solo!

Going on a retreat can be an incredible experience, but it can also be daunting to step out of your comfort zone and put yourself in unfamiliar situations. After all, retreating from the world is usually associated with being alone and isolating ourselves – not exactly what you’d call “fun”!

However, taking some time away to unplug doesn’t have to mean going solo. In fact, there are numerous benefits of stepping outside your comfort zone and making new friends on a retreat. Here are just a few:

1) You get the chance to connect with people from different backgrounds and walks of life - this could potentially open up opportunities for learning about other cultures or perspectives that you may not otherwise have been exposed to.

2) You can sharpen your communication skills by having meaningful conversations with others – whether it is talking about shared interests, exchanging stories about past experiences or discussing current events – this will help build confidence in becoming more comfortable around strangers or groups of people.

3) Making new friends while on a retreat gives us the opportunity to learn something new and expand our social circle; who knows? The person we meet might turn into a close friend someday!

So don’t be afraid to make some moves while getting lost in nature! Stepping outside your comfort zone during times like these can actually lead you towards discovering wonderful surprises along the way…
